Mirage

“Mirage” is a procedural franchise set in the Palm Springs and the desert communities of Southern California. We follow Mia Harlow, a single mom and an ex-homicide detective from Los Angeles, as she tries to reboot her life in a city that is not the sunny playground that it appears to be.

Once a small desert hideaway, the city of Palm Springs and the adjacent communities have blossomed into a cultural Mecca and vacation hot-spot. World class golf, tennis and polo tournaments broadcast worldwide have pulled spectators away from the TV and onto courses, court and fields, and into the beautiful hotels and country clubs. And more recently, the epic music festivals Coachella and Stage Coach have drawn tens of thousands to explore and experience the California desert. But as with every exciting community, beneath the glamour lies a world of crime and intrigue. Meet Mia Harlow, former Los Angeles homicide detective, who now finds herself square into the middle of it.

After the mysterious and unsolved death of her husband, Mia and her teenage daughter relocate to the desert, and into her father’s condo in retirement golf course community. But before they can even settle in, Mia is thrust into a series of bizarre murders that have law enforcement baffled. Enlisted by a local Sheriff, Mia breaks her self-made promise to herself to stay out of the line of fire and joins the team. One thing is for sure, not everything is as it seems under the desert sun…
